Max Architectural Design has been operating in Marlborough since 2004, providing an economical and efficient drafting and design service for the top of the South Island. The business is run as a Charitable Trust. Following the Bible's encouragement to feed the hungry, provide homes for the homeless, clothe the shivering and visit those in prison (Matthew 25:34-40) all profits are used for the alleviation of poverty and to assist the disadvantaged, both within New Zealand and overseas.
SOME OF THE ORGANISATIONS WE SUPPORT
Bronwyn Duffy is a Licensed Building Practitioner, Design 1. I'm originally from North Canterbury, then spent a couple of years in Wellington, before falling in love with Marlborough. I live in a little cottage by the sea, with my husband and a mad Cairn terrier.
Of all the skills needed to provide a drafting service, I consider good listening to be the most important one. Houses should be built to be lived in, and lived in well, not just to win awards. I am experienced in AutoCAD drafting design, and can provide 3D pictures for use in marketing or concept design.
I consider a successful residential home is one which:
- is designed for your lifestyle
- is within for your budget
- is thoughtfully laid out for flow
- has minimised weather tightness risks
- looks great
- is easy to maintain
- is environmentally sustainable
- and preferably has a wonderful kitchen and a roomy garage
